About Talon Labs
We build self-hosted software for teams whose data cannot go to a vendor cloud. This section is the paperwork behind that claim: what the software does with your data, what we will answer, and how to reach a person.
What we build
Talon Labs builds Talon Studio and takes on bespoke work. Studio is self-hosted detection engineering: detections written as code, tested against your telemetry and deployed to your SIEM. It ships under one licence, in beta as the Community Edition, which costs nothing with a Talon Labs account; a paid Enterprise edition is in development.
It ships as software you run, not a tenancy you rent. That is the decision every page in this section follows from: if the software runs on your hardware, most questions about what a vendor does with your data have the same answer — we never receive it. What an install does send us carries none of it: a check for new releases, which can be switched off, and on an Enterprise key a licence check-in. Both are set out on Data handling.
How we work
Talon Studio is built by the people who answer its support mail. What breaks for you goes through the feedback page, to the same people.
